About EmployerReady

EmployerReady turns Ontario’s 2026 employer rules into the documents a small organization needs to meet them. It is built and operated by LLnet Inc., an owner-operated technology company in Cochrane, Ontario. It is not a law firm and it is not affiliated with the Government of Ontario.

What it does

  • A free check that tells you which Ontario accessibility (AODA) and Employment Standards Act rules apply to your organization, based on your headcount and what you do.
  • A free job posting check against the ESA job posting rules in force since January 1, 2026.
  • A paid pack that builds the documents behind those rules from one questionnaire: accessibility policies and notices, the compliance report worksheet, the disconnecting from work and electronic monitoring policies, the new hire information sheet, the 45-day interview notice and a compliance calendar. Each arrives as an editable Word file and a PDF, cites the section it satisfies, and states the date the rules it is based on were current to. See pricing for what is included.
  • Reminders for the dates that matter to you, and, while Keep-Current is active, re-issued documents when a rule changes.

What it does not do

  • We do not file anything with the Government of Ontario. The accessibility compliance report is filed by your own director, senior officer or other person with authority to bind the organization, on the government’s portal. We never ask for your portal credentials.
  • We do not give legal advice. Our documents and guides are plain-language summaries of published rules. The wording has been checked against the law texts, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If your situation is unusual, have a lawyer look at the documents before you adopt them.
  • We do not decide your compliance. Which rules apply to you is worked out by fixed tests written from the regulations, not by a model guessing. Whether your organization meets them is your call and your certifier’s.
  • We are not the government and we do not act for it. Nothing on this site is an official form or notice.

Why it exists

Three sets of Ontario rules landed on small employers within a short period: the accessibility compliance report due December 31, 2026 for organizations with 20 or more employees in Ontario; the Employment Standards Act job posting rules in force since January 1, 2026 for employers with 25 or more employees; and the written policy and new hire information requirements that start at the same 25-employee line. The rules themselves are short. Finding them, reading them against each other and turning them into dated documents is the part that takes an owner or office manager a weekend. EmployerReady does that part.

How we keep it current

Every legal statement on this site and in our documents traces to a specific section of an Ontario Act or regulation, or to a named government guidance page, and a daily job checks the official sources listed on the methodology page for changes. The methodology page explains the sources, the checks and the review history, including what has and has not been reviewed.
