If you keep the books, run payroll, or advise small employers in Ontario, your clients may be asking you about the 2026 rules: the accessibility compliance report, the new job posting rules, and the written policies that start at 25 employees. EmployerReady gives them a free place to start and, if they want it, the documents. This page explains what you can share with them and how a referral code works.
What EmployerReady does for your clients
- A free job posting check. They paste a posting and see, rule by rule, what the Employment Standards Act job posting rules in force since January 1, 2026 ask for. No account needed.
- Free guides. Plain-language guides to each rule, with the section of the Act or regulation it comes from.
- The Deadline Pack. One questionnaire builds their accessibility policies and notices, the compliance report worksheet, the disconnecting from work and electronic monitoring policies, and a compliance calendar, as Word and PDF files. A paid one-time purchase that includes a period of Keep-Current; see pricing for the current price and what is included.
EmployerReady does not file anything for your clients and does not give legal advice. The accessibility report is filed by someone with authority at your client’s organization, on the government’s portal. The methodology page explains how the rules are checked and what has not been reviewed yet.
What you get as a partner
- A referral code and two links. One link opens the pricing section; the other opens the free posting check. Both carry your code (examples below).
- Guides you can share. Any guide can be linked from your newsletter, website, or client emails. A good first one is the AODA compliance report guide, or the compliance calendar.
- A public sample document. The sample accessibility policy (PDF) shows a client what a finished document looks like, built for a fictional company.
How the referral code works
Your links look like this, with your code in place of CODE:
- Pricing:
https://employerready.com/?ref=CODE#pricing - Free posting check:
https://employerready.com/?ref=CODE#check
- When your client opens either link, your code is filled in for them in the “Referral code” field of the checkout form on our home page. The posting check and the checkout are on the same page, so the code is still there if they go on to pricing after the check.
- At checkout, the code is checked against our list of active partners. A valid code is recorded on the order and on your client’s account. An unknown or inactive code is ignored, and the purchase goes ahead as normal.
- We count paid orders by referral code, so we know which clients came from you.
Please be clear with your clients about what the code does and does not do:
- It records who referred the client. That is all it does.
- It does not change the price. Your client pays the same with or without a code.
- Nothing is paid automatically. We do not publish referral-fee terms. If a referral fee is part of our arrangement, we agree it with you in writing before your first referral.
How to ask for a code
Email support@employerready.com with your firm’s name, the email address you want us to use, and a few words about the employers you work with. We set up the code and send you your two links. If you would like to discuss a referral fee, say so in the same email and we will agree it in writing before you send anyone our way.
